PhiScalp Workshops

Difference in Certificates:
PhiScalp Workshops
- When you complete the in-person workshop for scalp micropigmentation, you get 2 certificates. The first certificate is received on the 2nd day of the workshop, after you attend the two-day training, which is the “PhiScalp Attendance Certificate”. The second certificate is your official “PhiScalp Artist Certificate” that is earned after you complete your 12 levels online.
PhiScalp Online
- The online training only gives you one certificate, which is the main certificate you need to qualify as a PhiScalp Artist in the Phi Academy. Students will earn their PhiScalp Artist Certificate after completing their 12 online levels on the CraftMaster application.
Difference in First-hand experience:
PhiScalp Workshops
- With no doubt, you will get first hand experience of doing scalp micropigmentation for a client on your second day of training. Prior to COVID protocols, PhiScalp training allowed all students to work on their own models, but now, in order to keep crowds in an enclosed space to a minimum, three students will have the opportunity to work on one model. This experience will help you get over your fear of “first-time” doing SMP on a live model. Taking the in-person training is recommended to students who do not have any prior experience in the permanent make-up industry and are not familiar with the micropigmentation techniques.
PhiScalp Online
- The PhiScalp Online training is straightforward and you get to earn experience through passing your levels on the CraftMaster application. The levels require you to execute the scalp micropigmentation procedure on live models and you must submit pictures of your work as proof of SMP completed by you.
